Today in writing Whaea Nicky and Whaea Larissa helped us to think about what we are grateful for. We discussed our ideas and wrote them on a whiteboard. Next we wrote them onto a Matariki Shooting Star. We attached this to our own shooting star.
During maths today, we worked with a buddy on a rich math task. We had to roll two dice, add them together and find out how many different numbers we could make. We also had fun making music today! We have also made cookies this week. In Stage 4 phonics, we are learning to use spelling patterns with a middle vowel sound (e.g. cat, mat, rat, ran, can, etc). We have been writing silly sentences to practice using this new skill.
